Every season, even every month is different and has something special to offer. One really has to live here year-round, unfortunately, my guests only have a week or two. Fortunately, there is never a lack of things to see and experience. \u201c<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter having spent several travelling Japan by bicycle at every chance my wife and I had to take a short vacation from our office jobs in the city, we decided it was time to take the leap. We quit our jobs and moved to the countryside where we started a bicycle touring company.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur main focus is on sharing the rural lifestyle and cultural activities, hot-spring baths, making traditional foods, school visits, simply experiencing a bit of what it is like to live in the satoyama. We also like to share the small inns where the inn-keeper will sit down with us at dinner to chat, play games, or teach us how to write our names in Japanese calligraphy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are so many wonderful bicycle routes in the area ranging from difficult uphills to long downhill cruises through rural hamlets and farm land on small roads with little to no traffic. There are courses for every age and ability.
